The Awards and Seminar
The Grocer Own Label awards took place on Tuesday 12th May 2009 at The Hurlingham Club, London. To view photos of the winners please click here.
The Grocer Own Label Excellence Awards recognise outstanding products in the own label category, and provide valuable feedback through a rigorous ju
dging process, from both consumers and industry experts.
All entrants receive a top-line report from consumer judges, via Cambridge Market Research. The report provides real insight and rates key areas in comparison to a category average, in addition to verbatim feedback. A panel of expert judges then use the consumer scores and additionally score products based upon criteria such as taste, content, appearance, packaging, labelling and value for money, in order to select the overall category winner.
The awards are open to existing products and all new products as long as they are commercially available and not in development.
The prestige of winning an award from The Grocer generates a fantastic platform for you to promote your product both within the industry and also to consumers. In addition to the report, finalists and winners can use the logo on communications and packaging, gain press coverage in The Grocer and further PR opportunities, and enjoy networking at the awards. All finalists receive a complimentary ticket to the awards presentation.
